Reception

  • Heather Stieg

    Heather is one of our friendly receptionists and it is likely you will encounter her voice when you call MIGA. Heather greets our clients when they call and ensures their call is put through to a member of staff who can promptly attend to their query.

Medico-legal

  • Anthony Mennillo

    Anthony is a legal practitioner with over 17 years experience in medical negligence and medical disciplinary matters.  He manages a team of solicitors and takes an active role in providing legal advice to our clients, as well as managing claims files including briefing and instructing our external panel solicitors.
  • Belinda Cullinan

    Belinda joined MIGA having previously worked as senior solicitor in the insurance litigation practice of a major commercial law firm where she specialised in personal injury and professional negligence litigation.  Belinda provides medico-legal advice and support to our clients across Australia in relation to litigated claims, coronial inquests and disciplinary matters.
  • Emma Cocks

    Emma joined MIGA having previously worked as a Senior Associate at Finlayson Lawyers within their Insurance and Litigation department.  As part of MIGA’s Claims and Legal Services team, Emma provides medico-legal advice and support to our clients across Australia in relation to litigated claims, coronial inquests and disciplinary matters.

Client Services

  • Amanda Sharp

    Amanda leads our Client Services Officers in helping our clients arrange and manage their insurance with MIGA.  When you insure with us you will have a dedicated Client Services Officer who will be available to assist you on an ongoing basis.  This provides you with a consistent point of contact and helps us to provide you with a better service.  Amanda and her team are here to help you.
  • Hannie Lim

    Hannie works in our Sydney office helping our clients arrange and manage their insurance with MIGA.  She also provides support to our Business Development staff in NSW, assisting with local education and risk management events they offer for our clients.  Hannie may assist you when you call with an enquiry, or if you live in the Sydney area, you may meet Hannie at an event.

Risk Management

  • Keryn Hendrick

    Keryn has over 30 years experience working either as a practising lawyer, consultant or risk manager.  She is responsible for the ongoing development of MIGA’s risk education for clients.  Prior to joining MIGA Keryn managed a Risk Management Program for the Law Society of South Australia, delivering risk education to legal professionals.
  • Gareth Thomas

    Clinical Risk Coordinator

    Gareth has worked in clinical risk management in public hospitals in both Australia and New Zealand, predominantly in the areas of paediatrics and women’s health.
     
    He delivers education to our clients, Practice Managers and medical practices based on MIGA claims experience. He also conducts practice reviews to help identify policy, procedural and medico-legal issues that give rise to claims and complaints and provides advice on strategies for minimising risk.
     
    Gareth is actively involved in the development of activities for MIGA’s Risk Management Program and also assists in coordinating the day to day running of the Program.
  • Jane Clark

    Administration Officer

    With a career in customer services (both in the UK and Australia), Jane is a facilitator for risk management enquiries, whether to do with Workshop and Conference bookings, access to the Client Area, assisting clients engage with online Activities and Workshops, or facilitating requests for information and advice on medico-legal issues.  Jane is your ‘go to’ person.
