Search results

• Search results are ordered so that the most frequently billed numbers (according to Medicare) are at the top of your results.  It also groups related and commonly billed item numbers and suggests alternate item numbers.  Perform a Whipple's and most surgeons would also insert a feeding jejunostomy, so these items are linked.
• Search your specialty or the whole schedule from the home screen. Within the settings feature you can customise the displayed results so that irrelevant sections of the schedule are excluded based on your specialty.  Not many gynaecologists will want item numbers for hydatid cysts and not many liver surgeons will search for ovarian cysts, but both might search for 'cyst', so only the relevant items will be displayed.
• The Application also provides an accurate 'out of pocket expenses' estimate based on the scheduled fee, enabling you to manage patient expectations and assist with financial consent. You can also calculate bills for cases with multiple item numbers and email bills and item numbers to your rooms or patients.

More refinements and updates are coming soon and the developers are keen to get user feedback to make the Application even more user friendly.
